SRU Ambassadors to WFUMB 2025 annual meeting in Kyoto, Japan

The program at the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine-2025 annual meeting in Kyoto, Japan featured a session of 3 SRU Fellows, serving as SRU Ambassadors and moderated by SRU Fellow, Richard Barr. The 1.5-hour course included lectures by Mindy M. Horrow: ” First Trimester Ultrasound Lexicon: A Consensus of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound”, Shuchi Rodgers: “SRU Consensus on Routine Pelvic Ultrasound for Endometriosis” and Nitin Chaubal: “Uses of CEUS in Gynecologic Ultrasound”. Our session was well attended, as was the meeting which had approximately 9,000 registrants, of whom 5,730 were in person. The meeting was held at the Kyoto International Conference Center in conjunction with the Japanese Society of Ultrasonics in Medicine. This meeting is held yearly at locations throughout the world. Just announced at the meeting is the 2029 location in Mumbai, India under the leadership of Dr. Chaubal.
