Distinguished Service Award

In 2007, the Executive Board established the Distinguished Service Award to honor SRU members for outstanding service to the Society and to the field of radiology. The recipient is selected by the Executive Board.

Rising Star

This award recognizes a fellow who has contributed in an exemplary fashion to the goals of the society and to the advancement of ultrasound as a subspecialty and who has been a fellow for less than 5 years. Decision is made by the Executive Board, and the award is presented at the fellows meeting. There is no advance announcement of this award to the fellows or the awardee; however, the award will be announced at the members business meeting. There is no monetary award or fee adjustment associated with the award.
