The SRU Early Career Interest Group was formed to engage early career radiologists with an interest in ultrasound.
The group provides a network for collaborating on research and ultrasound education and fosters mentorship for future leaders in diagnostic ultrasound.
Interested radiologists, fellows and residents who are within their first 10 years of practice are welcome to join this group.
We host an event during at the annual SRU meeting and periodically meet on a virtual basis throughout the year.
These meetings offer a chance to socialize and discuss mutual challenges that come with transition from fellowship to faculty/staff.
As a result of this group, many of our members have been invited to serve on SRU committees, have lectured at SRU meetings, or have been invited to participate in multi-institutional research projects.
