JPR (Jornada Paulista de Radiologia), the annual meeting for the São Paulo Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (SPR), is the second largest radiology congress in the world, and the 55th meeting was no exception with 17,000 attendees gathering in Sao Paolo, Brazil from May 1-4, 2025. I had the honor of serving as the SRU Ambassador to the meeting and society, where Dr. Luciana Chamie served as my host contact with the organization. Dr. Chamie is an expert in endometriosis who served on the SRU panel defining the recently published consensus on routine pelvic ultrasound for endometriosis. Because Dr. Chamie had endometriosis well covered given her expertise, the SPR requested a lecture describing the recently created SRU consensus recommendations regarding a lexicon for first-trimester ultrasound, a lecture giving a general overview of O-RADS, and a third case-based lecture highlighting challenging and difficult cases in O-RADS. The audience was large and attentive for all three lectures, especially since there was simultaneous live translation of the lectures in Portuguese and Spanish. The SPR were fantastic hosts, inviting me to mingle with officers and other faculty at two lavish receptions. I encouraged audience participants and faculty to consider getting involved with SRU in the future, posting a QR code at the bottom of my slides with hyperlink to the SRU membership application page on our website. Thanks to Dr. Nirvi Dahiya and Dr. Mark Lockhart for their efforts to have me represent SRU at the meeting. Special thanks to Dr. Lori Strachowski for her generosity in sharing the slide deck she used to present the lexicon at last year’s SRU meeting, which I used to create my presentation.
