ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

This session will provide a practical review of vascular ultrasound diagnostic criteria from head to toe, emphasizing the interpretation and application of established criteria in everyday clinical practice. Through case-based discussion and expert guidance, participants will learn how to confidently evaluate common vascular examinations, recognize potential pitfalls, and apply diagnostic criteria to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This CME teaching activity is designed for radiologists, vascular surgeons, sonographers, radiology fellows and residents, vascular technologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the performance, interpretation, or management of vascular ultrasound examinations.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Attendees should, at the completion of this webinar, be able to:

  • The major Doppler finding in normal vessels, stenotic vessels, and obstructed vessels.

  • The findings and differences between acute deep vein thrombosis and chronic post thrombotic change.

  • The major criteria for arterial stenosis in circulations throughout the body including the internal and common carotid artery, the aortoiliac level, the peripheral arteries, and renal and mesenteric arteries.
