About This Activity
This activity is intended to provide cutting edge teaching and case-based learning on a wide range of Ultrasound topics relevant to both general and subspecialty practices. World class faculty with a commitment to the practice and growth of high-quality Ultrasound in radiology will cover both fundamental and advanced techniques. Learners will benefit from practical teaching resulting in increased confidence in exam interpretation and professional growth that may immediately be applied to their individual practice. Dedicated subspeciality sessions in the following areas will be available: Gynecology, Obstetrics, Vascular, Head & Neck, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal, and Interventional. A new dedicated hands-on course will be available as well as a dedicated sonographer session. Additionally, cutting-edge plenary, a dynamic rapid-fire case review, scientific, and general practice focused sessions will be available.
Target Audience
This CME activity is designed to educate radiologists, radiology fellows, radiology residents, scientists engaged in the advancement of ultrasound, and sonographers. It should also be of benefit to those physicians who order sonographic studies.
Educational Objectives
Learn emerging ultrasound techniques and updates to reporting systems related to ultrasound
Review the approach to ultrasound in targeted patient populations including transplant recipients, pediatrics, oncology, gynecology, obstetrics, and orthopedics.
Discuss uses of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Review sonographic pitfalls and strategies for improvement.
Collaborate with and review the roles of other team members including clinicians, sonographers, scientists, and administration in the practice of ultrasound.

Presentations should be hypothesis-driven research intended to be presented as a 10-minute oral podium presentation.

- Abstracts should be submitted via the web site by July 1, 2026.
- All accepted abstracts are expected to be presented in person at the SRU 2026 Annual Meeting. Presenting authors will be provided complimentary registration.
- Scientific Presentation abstracts should use the format below:

- Maximum abstract length: 400 words, not including title, authors, purpose, images, tables, graphics, and charts.
- Multiple abstracts on different topics may be submitted.
- Only 4 files can be submitted and are encouraged if relevant to the research. Files are to be submitted as separate files. Acceptable files to support the research are tables, charts, graphics, and images. Image file requirements are as follows:
- Minimum file resolution is 1000 x 1000 pixels
- Maximum file size is 10 megabytes.
ABSTRACT REVIEW PROCESS
- All abstracts will be reviewed by members of the SRU Research Committee.
